Over the past several years, Alan has been a board member and actively involved with Baystate Financial Charitable Foundation. Founded in 1999, the Baystate Financial Charitable Foundation is committed to supporting a wide variety of nonprofit organizations throughout the Baystate Financial footprint that includes Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. While our focus is supporting children, we also recognize the great need that exists at many levels in society today and do not limit our funding to child related causes.

The Department of Children and Families (DCF) works in partnership with families and communities to keep children safe from abuse and neglect. In most cases, DCF is able to provide supports and services to keep children safe with parents or family members. When necessary, DCF provides foster care or finds new permanent families for children through kinship, guardianship or adoption.

Marlborough All Sports Booster Club
The MHS All Sports Booster Club helps support the Marlborough High Schools Athletic teams by providing financial support to teams and players for any equipment that might be needed. The organization also provides 6 scholarships to athletes who plan to continue their education in college.
